LEGO "The Last Autobot" Part 2 of 2: Robot mode

Well, transformation from space cruiser to robot mode is a pretty simple affair  compared to the transformation from Autobot Insignia to the space cruiser mode as shown in Part 1 earlier.

Split the nosecone to form legs and feet

Fold the flap up and tuck in the vehicle cockpit to the back of the robutt

LEGO "The Last Autobot" Part 1 of 2 : Alternate modes

From "The Last Autobot  is a guardian that Primus prepared, against the day that he would no longer be able to guide his creations. A stoic being, the Last Autobot awaits his destiny. "

How cool is that!

LEGO Triple Changer Railrazor Part 1 of 2: Bullet Train and Space Shuttle Mode

Railrazor (not related to this guy) is a  twin brother to Astrotrain. It was known that both of them signed up for Shockwave's triple changer experiment to enhance their abilities in battle.  However, sensing his benevolent spark slowly eroded by this experiment, he escaped Shockwave's lab but failed to save Astrotrain from the same fate , as his escape was quickly discovered by Shockwave. He lived as a fugitive ever since  in the depths of Cybertron (and sometimes flew above radar detection as a space shuttle (with stealth mode activated).

Quickie of the Week #20: Work in progress and then some

Well it's been quite a while since I update my blog. Anyway, I'm actively indulging in MOCing and LEGO related activities  almost everyday , but on a shorter duration daily. This  spurred me to start a facebook page (link below)  where I can quickly share with you all my progress and noteworthy stuff in my LEGO MOCing process. Do give me a push and like my page!

Project Trainformer

Here is how the train cockpit folds down to become the spaceship mode nosecone half. There are 2 types of hinged mechanism here:

1) The conventional one using technic brick with holes and pins behind the trainhead. (to connect to the train body)

2) The front using c-clips + bar (also known as lightsaber =)

Quickie of the Week #18: Spotlight on LEGO Victory Leo

Transformers: Victory Series started it's run on my local TV station back in 1991 (or 1992?) As a 13 years old kid, I was totally blown away by various characters inside and their multitudes of abilities . ( I remembered doodling Road Caesar on a piece of paper during my class / science lab session).

LEGO Millennium Falcon Falcon!! (Updated with video and LEGO Ideas link)

In my previous post, I mentioned about joining a Star Wars MOC competition in LEGOLAND Malaysia recently. I didn't win but the event was a great fun with tons of freebies. :)

My submission is an diorama of  Millenium Falcon Falcons (yes it's not a typo) placed in a very minimalist 48x48 base frame.

Quickie of the Week #17: Upcoming MOCs sneakpeek

I'm very sorry not to update my blog as often as I could... that's coz I spent the last 4 months focusing my entire  leisure*  time building one of my favorite Transformers Combiner.

*That includes late nites when the lil one was tucked in to bed, and scraps of time (5-10 minutes) before I left for work.

I'm sure seasoned Transformers fans would know what I'm building this time =)
