The exotic space cruiser has finally arrived!
PROLOGUE
LEGO Set 31157: Exotic Peacock was released early this year (2024), and after noticing its many expanded tails made possible by ball joints, it's a confirmed purchase.
As the months lingered on , I kept receiving requests to build a Transformer using the set above. Well, I promised them I definitely will before the year ended.
Finally I was able to make my hit and purchased the set at retail price (a rare phenomenon, I usually buy discounted sets) around middle of this month (December 2024) and quickly started working towards fulfilling my promise.
ABOUT THIS CREATION
This creation was built under challenging circumstances. There's only 2 weeks for me to complete everything , and in this holiday season, I was packed with events to attend.
To make matters worse, my trusty phone died. The very phone that I used to produce videos and photos of my LEGO projects. And then I found myself needing a tooth extracted. Ouch!
The biggest challenge I faced was getting the robot arms and legs to tab together in space cruiser mode.

ROBOT MODE
His head was last to be improved. Early in the project, it was 2-brick thick and squarish , and impeded the folding of the nosecone halves to the back of the robot mode.

Well, I guess this wraps up my "production line" for the year 2024. Here's to more creations from me in the coming years!
HAPPY NEW YEAR
