A roaring start to a brand new year!
RECAP!
Last year, I managed to build six Transformers using LEGO set 31152: Space astronaut, with the more recent one being Metroplex (video tutorial below)
And talking about tiger, the most recent Transformer Tiger I made was using LEGO set 31129 (below)
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Actually this project was started few weeks ago (aka last year), but I having problem building one final component of the creation so I cast the project aside. That component was seemingly insignificant but I still insisted it be implemented!
The beast finally has a prominent neck, something I seldom apply in my builts.
The tail aka "seemingly insignificant" component is one of the hardest to implement due to lacking hinged parts. Well, its finally added in nevertheless with a new building technique.
And talking about lacking hinged parts.... this affected how I designed his robot head too.
Talking about tail..... I should've make it longer so it touches the ground .
Hmmm.... I'm a lil regretful not implementing a longer tail.
TRANSFORM!
The rounded blue parrs was applied at the very last second before I start the photoshoot, after discovering that a completely white feet on a mostly white leg looked plain.
ROBOT MODE
I'm not too keen in using big ball joints for his robot neck, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
Due to scarcity of proper parts to built his tail, so I must accept its limitation when it comes to being folded nicely on his back.
ACTION POSES
With "Bumblebeast", a Transformer lion
