Video Tutorial: Transformer Manta Ray using LEGO Creator 31130: Sunken Treasure Mission

 

I almost scrapped this guy!

PROLOGUE

This project was started waaaay back in early January (that's about 3 months ago). As always... with a set this low in parts count... I managed to reach 80% completion within days. Then I was distracted with other projects using bigger LEGO sets.

And the longer I put this one on hold... the less I am inclined to complete it !   Anyway.... just last week I took it out once more with the intention of dismantling it  but decided last minute to try and salvage the poor guy.

So what you see now its the result.. and  actually the process of completing this project was pretty mundane and unexciting. 

Last week also saw me scrapping a project using set 31121 as well and build a new Transformer. That is another story for another time!

ABOUT LEGO SET 31130

Released in the year 2022, I made more than 5 Transformers using this set and prior to this one.... it was Megatron! (video tutorial below) last year.
