This poor thing suffered development hell for at least 4 months !.
PROLOGUE
I seldom buy Ninjago sets to build Transformers from, but set 71746 Jungle Dragon caught my eyes for its appealing color scheme .
I had made 3 Transformers using the set above before starting this project. One of them was Earthspark Megatron (video below)
Not long after Earthspark Megatron was published, I dismantled him and started this project. However....after a few months, I was losing steam at 90% completion. So I put it aside and occasionally took it out to perform minor tweaks.
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
As you can see, the alternate mode is a hovercar. My aim was to build an Arcee-like Transformer, since the set doesn't provide me with any wheels at all and there's alot of curvy slopes and wedge plates to be utilized here.
As I am preparing this blog, I tried to backtrack to find out the reason why I lagged in getting this project completed.

I think I once fussed over the stickered curved slopes placements on the vehicle. There are actually 2 orientations on how the wedge logo were stickered onto the slopes. Finally I deduced that it's an act of futility trying to get the best outcome. It's all good as long as they're symmetrical on the vehicle mode.
Suddenly I remembered I halted this project last year with a hollowed vehicle rear , in a dilemma on how to cover it. I can choose to simply apply a hinged panel/flap and called it day, but such minimalism is not my style.
Eventually I decided to build a semi-concealed cannons that pops up in attack mode. Please admire how I actually spent many hours trying to get the hinge to work on this cannon to work in both vehicle and robot mode !
I made Arcee almost 4 years ago and recently I'd thought of dismantling her for new projects. However , before doing so.. I must complete this project first so I can snap photos of it side by side with Arcee, since they both shared the same hovercar mode.

One of the final enhancements to the creation before wrapping it up was implementing seats on the vehicle mode.
TRANSFORMATION
ROBOT MODE
These feet were last to be finalized with wider footprint for stability.
MORE ACTION POSES
