Apeface is a Decepticon from G1 Transformers cartoon series. He has the ability to turn into 2 distinct modes: A futuristic jet plane and also a gorilla.

Woah... what a year! I think year 2018 is my most productive yet so far, when it comes to total number of LEGO Transformers I managed to churn out. Let me chronicle my 2018 LEGO adventures in groups rather than chronologically... 

LEGO Masterforce Overlord v2 ,Part 2 of 3: Megajet (with Video!)

This Project Overlord version 2 was initiated about 11 months ago and about 90% completed within 3 months. Then suddenly I felt a need to put it on hold and started building something else (almost 10 other MOCs were churned out), before returning to this project again.

Starting the transformation from vehicle mode is much easier on the eyes. Again, we rotate the crane /boom to the back, and split the vehicle mode into two halves.

If you're new in this post, do start from Part 1 first.   Done? Great! Now we shall complete transformation of Arcane's vehicle mode to another mode.

The arrow is pointing at connection points for both halves of the crane. You will notice a blue technic pin on one half that connects to a technic hole on another half.
