Prime time for yet another Megatron!
RECAP!
LEGO set 31163: Playful cat was released this year (2025) and prior to this project, I had made 3 Transformers using this set! The more recent one turned into a manta ray! (video below)
ABOUT MEGATRON
Megatron is arguably the most iconic villain from Transformers media franchise spanning 40 years and counting . He appeared in many, many Transformers series as the leader of the bad guy faction Decepticons.
And I, too have been building quite a few Megatrons myself using official LEGO sets, like this one below:
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
This project is based on Megatron from Transformers:Prime animated series that was shown in the late 2000s. This Megatron turned into cybertronian jet plane.
The cannon is one of the hardest component to design because there are different mounting points for the vehicle and also his robot mode.

One of the most challenging part was designing his spiky shoulders and up to this moment I'm still not that satisfied with the outcome.
