Heard of Tiger tank? Well this one's made using a LEGO Tiger !
RECAP!
LEGO set 31129: Majestic Tiger was released in the year 2022. And since then, I had made more than a dozen Transformers using this set. And each one transformed into various alternate modes.... dinosaur, tiger, jet planes, dragon, scorpion and the list goes on.
Prior to this project tank, I made a VF-1 Valkyrie using this set (video below)
The past month or so, I was inspired to built Transformer tanks.. and I did. Two of them were built using LEGO ser 31151 and 31150 respectively. (below)
The "blueprint" to build Transformer tank is still quite fresh in my mind.. and so .. I turned to LEGO set 31129 and get started about 2 weeks ago!
The cannon on the center of the turrect is a gun for thr robot mode.
The turret is the hardest part to implement since it (they?) must have full range of tilt and rotation like in a typical tank, and also allowed them to serve a purpose in robot mode as well.

The turret configuration above was pretty ad-hoc , something I cranked out during photoshoto session.
TRANSFORM!
Unlatch the robot feet from the side.
Note the angle on how the heels are positioned . This is to ensure stabililty in robot mode. Having a flat feet kinda made him less stable when upright.

Yep... trying to achieve this mode kept me on my toes redesigning the turret again and again.
