From the 3 LEGO Marvel Mech Armors released last year, I overlooked set 76141 above due to budget consideration. Well, it's finally snagged by me few months ago when it goes at a handsome discount.
At first glance.... the Gauntlet design was oozing with hinged parts to ensure all 5 fingers were articulated. And it's time to start the ball rolling by Transformerizing it.
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Initially, I'd thought of a landed vehicle as alternate mode, since this set provided 4 handy 2 x 2 rounded parts (read: fake wheels). But before that, I would prefer to start off with something simpler on my already crowded brain (too many ongoing projects need to put closure to this year).
By the way, I've made Transformers Microscope before from official LEGO sets (click here to view them).
It's always the little things that excites me: Like applying the rounded parts to become the knobs on the lens piece.
TRANSFORMATION
ROBOT MODE
Due to the huge kibble on the back, standing straight and stable requires him to tilt his knees slightly forward.
Compared to my earlier Microscope Transformers, this one is unable to have his lens piece to become shoulder mounted cannon.
