PROLOGUE
LEGO set 31129 was released in the year 2022 and I considered this set to be my first "oracle" set where many,many Transformers be built from. Since there.. I've made more than 10 Transformers using this set alone!
And so...2026 arrived. And I noticed that I haven't published any Transformers using set 31129 this year! The previous one was made at the end of last year (video below)
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
his creation was inspired by Hung-grr from G1 Transformers cartoon series , that turned into a two-headed dragon.
However, since Hung-grr above is the leader of the combiner team Terrorcons and become the body of Combiner Abominus, my creation here do not having such ability.
Most challenging part was definitely building the front beast legs. This final version was my 3rd attempt with vastly different design style. You'll be suprised how neatly they tucked to the back of the robot mode!
The spiky body design are actually accidentally. They're hinges to secure the back and front of the beast mode. And you don't like him when he's unhinged (ok...lame joke!)

I think after countless attempts of making Transformers using this set.... I finally exhausted the ball joints ! His ball jointed heels are a lil loose and popped out easily especially during propping him up for video.
