RECAP!
Beast Wars Transformer was a CGI cartoon back in the 1990s. I'm not really a fan of this cartoon , but some of the more mechanical looking characters caught my attention, like Depth Charge for example (video tutorial below)
ABOUT OPTIMUS PRIMAL
Optimus Primal is the leader of team Maximals, the good guy faction from Beast Wars cartoon. He turned into a gorilla in the show. Last year in 2023, I managed to build two Optimus Primal using LEGO sets. One of them was made using set 31133 (video tutorial below)
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
The initial spark to build Optimus Primal using set 71746 was due to the presence of many rounded plates and bricks found from the set.
Initially his ape eyes consisted of 2 tan round plates, but due to poor contrast with the rest of the head, I swapped them with a single piece 1 x 2 round plate in the last minute.

However, both the robot and beast head building tutorial will not be shown in the video. They're pretty easy to built simply by spending a few minutes of staring at his photos. Let's say this is a special challenge from me to you guys out there to improve your skills.
