When I build LEGO Transformers, I usually build the head and hands last.

Quickie of the Week #21: Project "The Last Autobot" Work in progress
This project started pretty quickly last week thanks to the holiday my state enjoyed (Birthday of our Sultan). So I had one whole day for myself doing the things I like. :)

Quickie of the Week #11: I love mini ball-joints! and some design highlights
In my current project, I am slowly endearing myself to the mini balljoints introduced by LEGO recently (found in Mixels and Chima Legend Beasts)... and my conclusion; I love them I'm gonna stockpile them by the dozens for my future use.
The component above started off using rigid hinged parts but I couldn't make them to fold to desired position to form robot feet, so I modified it by introducing the mini balljoint.

Quickie of the Week #10: Chickening Out
I was planning to publish my new MOC today but found out time is against me. I've been spending my time doing job related work at home with deadline due about 3 days from now . Anyway...

Quickie of the Week #9: Work in Progress / design highlights
Let's start with these common pieces =)
The pieces above are common hinged plates with frictions. (let's call them 1-finger hinge and 2-finger hinge respectively).
In my current project, I am not using them as hinges however...

Quickie of the week #6: Work in Progress ,counting down to Ultra Magnus!
I'm currently putting finishing touches to Ultra Magnus. Since it's been a while since I update my blog, here's a tiny sneakpeek of this MOC so far.
Do read on to view some pretty interesting photos on how I engineer the leg transformation.

Quickie of the Week #5: Dilemma! Dilemma!
Current work in progress is 90% done now, albeit some parts of the right color require a visit to bricklink.com soon. I'm now at a crossroad. Which design should I go for ?

Quickie of the Week #4: I'm in c2age & Work in Progress
Today is pretty eventful. I've just took some of my LEGO creations to be exhibited under Transmy booth in c2age event in Kuala Lumpur, which is happening right now and tomorrow . For those who are nearby , here's the only chance to see my LEGO Transformers in the flesh (the other option would be paying me a visit to my humble house =)
For those who are smart enough to follow me on Instagram (why aren't you already?) , you will have the privilege to get hints on what I am currently building with LEGO.
I would like to share my progress with you so far, especially when I managed to tackle challenging hurdles. Here is one fine note-worthy example:
Unlike most LEGO TF I built before (where I have to find ways to tuck in the robot arms inside the alternate mode snugly ), this one is different. Now I have excess vehicle part to form the arms and I have to find ways to "compact" them up.

Quickie of the week #3: WIP Sneakpeek
Any day now! I'm in the final leg of finalizing my new MOC. I'm left with one more crucial item: The weapons.
Still unsure what I'm building ? Click below to view more!

Quickie of the Week #3: Work in Progress (Halted!)
Before I proceed to build something, I usually do a quick inventory check on the parts I have and made a rough guesstimate whether they're enough to get me by the whole process without interruption. And 90% of the time, I managed to get by , finding workaround building techniques if there are certain parts I lacked that hindered my progress.
But this time around, I failed. I REALLY need certain specialised parts and and there's NO EXCEPTION nor workaround to "emulate" them. So during this "downtime" of not devotedly building my MOC , perhaps any of you would like to see what I'm up to lately? =)
As you can see, the placeholder yellow hinge is meant to be black . And there's a few more parts which I need to improve this MOC. I'm taking a 3 week break before the required parts arrive ( or maybe I start a quick , simple new project )

Quickie of the week #2: WIP Sneakpeek
I started working on a new project days after 2013 . I felt a need to build a "bigger" or more epic MOC to end each year but found last year (or month to be precise) life schedule to be a huge deterrence. To make it up to you guys (ardent blog followers of mine), let me just post a "bit" of my progress so far.
I personally consider my progress to have hit 70% at least. The photo above is just one of the many components that I have done but I'm pretty proud of the outcome so far (and it's not even the final version, I will definitely tweak it here and there soon). Can you guess what I am building this time? =)
To view more photos revealing even more hints, click on the link below. HOWEVER.... huge spoiler ahead and what you be seeing might be spoiling a bit of the suprise when my MOC is finally rolled out sometime early next month the latest.
