My second Dreadwing using official LEGO sets!
This is LEGO 31152 Alternate Build, turning the Space Astronaut set into Transformer tighter jet F-16 Fighting Falcon . Based on Dreadwind from G1 Transformers cartoon series.
RECAP
Dreadwind is a character from G1 Transformers cartoon series, and he also appeared in Japanese Transformers Masterforce series too back in the 1980s. He turns into a F-16 Fighting Falcon jet.
Last month I made my first Dreadwind using an official LEGO set (video tutorial below)
About 1 week into project above..... I suddenly felt an relevation of sorts.... that he can be made using LEGO set 31152 too. So there!
ABOUT LEGO SET 31152
Set 31152: Space Astronaut was released in 2024.. and I've clocked in more than a dozen Transformers using this set alone! And not only that..... and it's not the first fighter jet Transformers I made either using this set. The honor goes to VF-1 Valkyrie (video below)
JET MODE
This one has 2 vertical stabilizers but only one engine, while the one made using LEGO set 31150 has 2 engines but 1 stabilizer. Just saying!
