Tutorial: LEGO Transformer from Marvel set 76146: Spider-man Mech

 

My initial plan for this set 76146 is to pair it up with another LEGO Creator set to make a Transformer....

... however, I couldn't find any of the latter at a discounted price.

And I discovered this Spider-man mech contains more hinges than I expected (thanks to the articulated claws on his back). So I've decided to try building a Transformer from it.

SIMPLE TRANSFORMATION

My favorite part of building this creation is how I fold the nosecone into a very cool wing-like robot kibble.
