Ask me a Question

In this section, you can post any questions to me below. I will try to answer them (if possible) in my next posting.

Keep your question related to LEGO, naturally. :)

  1. Man, looking in Tfw2005 I've found your blog. It's totally amazing!!! Really, I love transformers, and I Lego's for me are ok, I like them but normal, jeje, but this is crazy!!! You combine both of them, and I think is incredible. I would like to congratulates you for your work. My question is, do you design this in the computer, with any program, or just in your mind? And how many Lego pieces do you have? Jaja!!! Thanks for everything mate

  3. Sorry guys I almost forgotten about this particular thread ( and the questions needs answering!)

    Hi Eddie,

I usually build by whim and when inspiration struck. P think the best way to play with LEGO is to physically hold the parts and starts building, and never apply any time restrictions on that. That's why sometimes my project tend to drag for weeks especially when I'm rebuilding certain section of the MOC again and again to make it better.

    Hi Dee,

The local malls is my area (KL, Malaysia) has most of the sets I need but I usually buy them at a discount. I still enjoys building the official model and only opt for sets with hinges and wedges useful for my future MOC. For exact parts, bricklink.com is still the best place to source them online :)

  4. What do you think of the "new" 1x1 ball joint and socket pieces, and do you plan on using them?

  5. Hi lizerdspherex,

Yep most definitely. I was excited back then when Mixels photos where revealed using those joints. This is something I truly been waiting for.

Smaller sized joints will be very useful for Transformers combiners/gestalt. I'll try experiment with it a bit when I get hold of the Chima sets with those joints. 5 Chima beasts....COMBINE!

  6. HENSHIN CHIMARAGER GO! Funny enough I made a combiner out of the larger chima figures, but I can't wait to see what you do!

    1. I shall publish Neo Blurr and Hardhead instructions sometime this year. As for Sandstorm.. I think he can be improved further using recent mixel joints. So I don't plan for instructions .Perhaps when I'm done building Sandstorm v2.00 ? :)

  12. Hi, your creations are great. I just have some tips for the website. I recommend try to put the most important parts at the top, for example, main articles should be at the top without having to scroll down. Things in the side bar such as "Label" and "Followers" could be removed to make room for more important sections. I think these changes will help improve the website. Keep up the good work!

    1. Thank you so much for your suggestions. Yeah this site is due for some revamp to make it more user friendly. It's been more than a year I think since I fiddle with blogger widgets.

      Cheers!

    1. I'm still brainstorming on the viability of another combiner in my project. Its either Stunticons or Dinobots combiners. I still have doubts on how to tackle the combiner body transformation.

    1. It's possible but I might want that to be a triple changer, instead of transforming into just a horse.

  19. First of all, AMAZING what you can create. You bring the two passions form my childhood together. As a kid i've build my own transformer creation, but not as advanced as you are building.

Since my kids are now old enough to build there own sets and becaurse of Lego Master contests on television, we've all been building again. In my search for lego transformer i've stumbled upon your blog and i was totally flabbergasted. I hope you'll keep on creating and posting here and on your youtube channel. You've got a follower in me ;)

I like to create my designs in Studio. I can make 3d prints with it and step by step guides. It's also a way to store my designs for later use.

I started the Dreadwind project and am trying to figure out how you build this set. Can i contact you if am stuck? If you like, i'll share my results with you so you can add it to your blog.

A lot of greatings from Bram Naus from The Netherlands

  20. Hi! we share the exact same 2 childhood passion! I'm glad I returned to LEGO (and then Transformers) after I started working almost 20 years ago. (after spending my teen years giving up toys and even sold my LEGO away).

Thanks for the encouragements and support. I'm be here for a very very long time! There are always new challenges ahead.. new projects to try out and so little time. When it comes to this hobby,

Currently I have 4 triple changers project and 3 others pending (One is powermaster prime.

you can email me at ching_fatt@hotmail.com

    looking forward to your works!

btw have you seen my LEGO Dreadwind? There's lots of photos I published that you can refer to(link below)

  21. First, I love your creations and have been watching and learning for a long time.

Now that lego and hasbro both have an Ecto 1 I'm wondering if you've been inspired yet to convert the lego Ecto 1 into Ectotron! Once i get some free time back I'm thinking I'll be trying my hand at it.
