Fierce Dino finally taking flight!

PROLOGUE
I conducted a poll early this year to see which LEGO set my fans wanted to see a Transformer be made using. And set 31379: Fierce Dinosaur is one of the chosen ones. So I started working on this for almost a month earlier!
To me, this set above is the spiritual successor to Mighty Dinosaur set 31058 (below) that was released about 8 years ago, but with more parts!
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Space cruiser mode Transformer is one of the simplest mode for me to start building from any LEGO sets of my choice. From this initial attempt, I hope I can get a feel of the parts and its potential in building other types of Transformers.
The shaping and transformation style of this creation is very similar to
Brainstorm
, a character from G1 Transformers cartoon series.

The spur on his thighs were last minute enhance to act as landing gears to ensure the vehicle mode is upright.
