He's chunky, and he's funky!
This is LEGO 31151 Alternate Build / MOC, turning the T.Rex set into Transformer space cruiser, inspired by Brainstorm from G1 Transformers cartoon.

PROLOGUE
LEGO set 31151 was released last year and I finally managed to acquire it
from winning an online contest few months ago!
Other LEGO sets released and bought last year had many Transformers made
using them by me. And I think I gotta shift my focus more towards set 31151
above this year.
My first Transformer made using the set was Dinobot Swoop about 2 months
back.
ABOUT PROJECT BRAINSTORM
This creation was based on Brainstorm, a charactor from G1 Transformers
cartoon series.
The nosecone gave me the greatest challenge technically. The hinge must
be strong to prevent it from sagging in jet mode , and making them
structurally sound took me at least 5 design attempts. Previous attempts led
to the nosecone buckling when transforming to robot mode.
Gotta give myself a pat on the back for the windshield building
technique!

ROBOT MODE
Due to his flat feet syndrome..... he's actually more stable in knee
bending action poses than standing up straight like above. Note how
his thighs/body are tilted forward a lil to maintain his stability.
The chest is the final component to be built in this project.
